So...I sent the sample packet....now what?!?

You have posted a link for ladies all over to sign up to receive a FREE sample in the mail from you.  But, I bet a lot of you have sent out sample packets before and not really reaped many benefits from it.

I, too, had to live and learn with my sample packets.  I sent out about 50 different samples and really never heard from any of those ladies again!!

Here's a great formula to follow when mailing them - to maintain their interest and excitement and to start developing a relationship with them right away!!

#1 When they request the sample - Immediately reply back to them.  Thank them for requesting a sample, ask them if they have any questions and let them know you'll be putting it in the mail for them very shortly.

#2 The day after you have put it in the mail - Send them a message similar to this...

Hey..... :) I just wanted to let you know your sample is in the mail on it's way to you!!
I'm not exactly sure how long it will take to get there from here, but you can keep your eye out for it!

#3 A week after you mailed it - Check in with them and see if it has arrived yet.  If it has you can ask them how they made out trying it, ask them if they have any questions, etc.

If it hasn't yet, let them know you'll check back in in a couple of days.  If it hasn't by then, get their mailing address from them again and let them know you'll resend it.

#4  About 2 weeks later - Check in and see how they made out.  If they had any issues, address those issues with them and help them to fix them.  Let them know you have an order going in soon if they'd like to add to it and receive free shipping.  Or also ask them about hosting a party with you.

#5  About 2 months later - If they haven't purchased, just check in see if they used all of their samples.  If they have any questions you can help them with.  Let them know of any specials, or holiday wraps, or new catalogs that are available.

I made these changes and have found a profound difference!  You will still have a few ladies who never reply.  But the ones that do are thankful for the good service that you offered them, they learnt how to apply them properly and are excited about the product and have ordered, or booked, or joined! :)
